Your support matters.
Donor funding goes directly towards bringing in more resources to enhance mental health care in Africa and the diaspora across four key domains: training & education, research, clinical services, and advocacy & policy.
Funds are used to support the following AGMHI activities:
-
The annual AGMHI conference brings together expert and emerging researchers, clinicians, educators, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world to address ongoing mental health challenges in Africa and the diaspora. It provides a unique in-person opportunity for mental health professionals to collaborate across disciplines and support each other’s efforts toward advancing mental health care in their local communities and globally.
-
The AGMHI develops and delivers expert-backed, topic-specific webinars and trainings to its members. Topics are relevant and often related to current global events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and policy changes in mental health.
-
The AMGHI has access to groundbreaking, rigorous, and culturally-relevant research that is made available to its members.
