5th African Diaspora Global Mental Health Conference

13-14 September 2022

The 5th African Diaspora Global Mental Health Conference took place on 13-14 September 2022 in Cape Town, South Africa. The theme of the conference was "Emerging Voices in Mental Health.” The meeting brought together 60 individuals from around the world who are working in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, public health, social work, neuroscience, anatomy, and the visual arts. The meeting included updates from the AGMHI’s four working groups in the domains of research, training & education, clinical care delivery, and advocacy & policy, breakaway sessions, and presentations from emerging African mental health researchers.
