The AGMHI hosted its 7th annual conference titled “Closing the Gap: Innovations in Mental Health” in Kenya from 4-6 November 2024. The event convened 130 global leaders, researchers, practitioners, and advocates in mental health from 20 countries for two-and-a-half days at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in the capital city of Nairobi. The conference showcased innovations in research, community-based care, and investment in emerging African scholars as vehicles for advancing mental health in Africa and the diaspora.
